So still alive as you might have noticed.. or not. But I was in the mood to write so here we are.

Let's get the ones who are a bit interested up to date in my life. A lot has happened, and I mean a lot. But you can basically sum it up as something good.

First, I know I haven't been submitting anything for quite a while but that is all going to change soon. I got a nice architecture project coming up of which I intend to make some nice 3D renders of using Vray and SketchUp. For those who are into this kind of stuff I recommend you take a look here to what Vray and Sketchup in general can do [link] it's a good community with nice people who will help you with any question you have.

So I finally got my life sorta in line, my studies finally show some decent progression. I had been struggeling with this for quite a while. Apart from that I have the sweetest girlfriend in the world, weve been dating for almost 4 months now and Its more than good.

Other than that I painted a wall in my room, I will soon upload a picture of that, it's all based on some abstract art of mine. Very inspirational stuff. And my room is finally done after 2 years, all furniture and technology is finally installed and moved.

Art wise my focus has shifted a little, it's been quite the run so far. From 2D signatures and websites to 3D (very basic) to space art, back to 3D and logodesign. My latest work beeing an example of that. Ive talked about my 3D work before and Ill soon upload some of my work.

I also got one more project of terraspace in my mind, that has been brewing for 2 months now. All I can say if I can find the time between my studies, work, girlfriend and my fraternity then it's going to be good =P.

As for some other stuff, I finally bought an IPod, been postponing that for almost 2 years now. But I got to say it's the best purchase I made in quite a while. No more hearing kids cry and scream on the bus or in the train. I just turn up the volume and all I hear are the sweet beats of Gregor Salto, David Guetta and the likes.
I also shaked the Iphone hype, In the beginning I wanted nothing less than to have one. But I have found something better, The E-TEN Glofiish X800. Its the Iphone and then some, it even has frikking GPS, not that I have a car but still :D.

Anyway keep posted and you will see some nice art flying by soon. I want to thank everyone who sticked with me for so long, I appreciate your support! And if there is something more that you want to see of me artwise (more space art, more logo's, more 3D) then let me know, after all I created this account to show what I can do to the world, so the least I can do is show the world what it wants.

Im out again, see ya!

Birthday :D

What do you know I am alive!

For anyone who gives a flying fck I am still here and check my devwatch almost daily, as to submitting something myself well I am hoping I finally can start that collab with stefferX in feb but I won't know for sure if that will go through untill its feb.

As to the tag:

6 weird things about me:

- I effectively keep reversing my day night sleep rhythm.
- I go crazy when I see a watermelon in the summer.
- I am a very experienced 3d modeller, hell I even make my money with that. Thoughyet I have never textured anything properly in my life!
- For some reason some people still look up to me (grafic wise) eventhough I haven't done anything really good for over a year!
- Somehow I find the time in my busy schedule to follow 14 different tv shows. (multitasking with dualscreen ftw!)
- In my own place I have a 2 person bed, back at my parants I have a single person bed which I fall out every time I go back. Youd think I would learn?!

Anyway so much is that as to who I am going to tag from now?
Well I doubt anyone is still reading this but if you are drop a comment and youll be tagged. =P

Im out again Ill let you know how that collab is coming, well... if its coming in feb.

Devupdate and this monthly-ish Features

Fri Aug 25, 2006, 2:51 PM
This week was awesome!!!

We had an enormous introduction week from uni. And I applied as a mentor with a roommate to guide the new shipload of students through Uni Delft and its many fraternities.

Well to sum it all up in one short burst: long days with very late hours, little sleep, a lot of beer, Fedde le Grand, Gregor Salto, Elize all Live, Having my picture in a national newspaper with a header: Hazing has already begun at a faternity in Delft, Laughing my ass off at that header cause the media can make a scandal out of something as harmfull as some singing and massive beer chugging with all participants volunteering to do this, Rain, Dj-ing for a large crowd, bad food, and being the center of attention while dancing on a stage, Going down a telpher carrier over a river with 3 people realizing midway that that thing cant hold three and tumbling down in the water from a height of 4 meter and also laughing my ass of on that.

But you couldve guessed it I had a GREAT week one which I would love to do over. But hey next year we will do it all again :#1:

Okay as much for my personal life here comes the art part.
Room becomes silent........
Okay I havent done like anything the past few week(s?) but Ive been really busy, collabs have halted for a sec for the same reason. So not much I can tell you here so we move on to the features.

Features:
This week I am proud to Feature 2 deviants who damn right deserve it:

They dont get much better than this guy, the talent is overwhelming, go check him out [link]

This guy works hard and I mean REALLY hard he makes his money with his art and isnt afraid of an intense labour session, just look at some of his pictures, they will blow you away.

Watch em both if you havent already, I know I did.
Nywayz Im out see you soon.

Collaberations, and Features

Where to begin,

Aaah now I know while I am starting to write this journal I know it will all be in vain because who reads these damn things nowadays.. well nobody but then again it keeps me from going insane so why not =P.

- Collabs

First off I would like to thank for giving me that awesome model which provided me with my new background and yes I am loving it :D.

Further more I recently resumed to developping stages on a collab which seemed dead BUT it came back to live. Im offcourse talking about my collab with amazing terragen artist to say the least.

And it doesn't stop there noooo, I recently started off a collab with nobody less than plans are already in setting and I already have to comfort of knowing that at least one person is going to appreciate the outcome (dont ask =P).

- Life Stuff

You probably wouldnt care so you might as well skip this..... or not. Anyway recently bought a Reloop RMX-30 classic mixing console, She;s a beauty I can tell you that and the handeling is awesome so I have been fine tuning my dj skills seeing chances are big that I will be playing in front of a rather large crowd to say the least during the introduction weeks of the Technical University of Delft.

Weather is killing me over here as expected were going to reach 36 degrees tomorrow a real killer if you ask me but ill live =P.

- Features
Im going to feature 2 artists whom I think are awesome and deserve this:

Amazing artist and a great supporter of the community

A real terragen master be sure to check out his worldwide series

Anywayz thatll be all,
and for now back to the watermelons :D
